Makkah: Security patrols in Makkah arrested four residents of Indian and Bangladeshi nationalities for fraud and deception through publishing fake and misleading advertisements for Hajj services on social media platforms.
According to Saudi Press Agency, authorities seized forged cards, documents, and tools used in the scheme. The suspects were arrested, legal action was taken against them, and they were referred to Public Prosecution.
The Public Security called on everyone to comply with Hajj regulations and instructions, and to promptly report violators by calling (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern Region, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
