Riyadh: Moderate to heavy rains, leading to flash floods and accompanied by hail and gusty, dust-stirring winds, are forecasted to continue impacting parts of the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Light to moderate rain showers are also anticipated in parts of the Najran Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, maximum temperatures are expected to remain high in parts of the Eastern Region, while fog formation is likely during the early morning hours over its coastal areas. The Red Sea will experience northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts, with southwesterly to westerly winds shifting to northwesterly to northerly in the southern part, reaching speeds of 16-50 km/h. Wave heights are expected to vary from half a meter to over two meters, creating calm to choppy sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights are anticipated to range from half a meter to two meters, with the sea remaining relatively calm.
