Jeddah: CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham Aljadhey visited the hall dedicated to the Makkah Route Initiative at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah today. He reviewed the procedures and efforts undertaken to facilitate the pilgrims' journey, expedite their processing, provide them with the best possible services, and enable them to perform their rituals with ease.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aims to provide high-quality services to pilgrims from participating countries, including collecting biometric data and issuing Hajj visas electronically, completing passport control procedures after verifying compliance with health requirements, and tagging and sorting baggage according to transportation and accommodation arrangements in the Kingdom.
