stc Group Strengthens Sustainability Impact with Seventh Report and AA MSCI ESG Rating

Riyadh: stc Group has unveiled its annual Sustainability Report for 2025, marking the seventh installment in its sustainability reporting journey. This report showcases the group's extensive impact across various domains, including environmental initiatives, human capital development, and responsible business practices.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the report underscores stc Group's measurable climate progress in 2025, with a notable 4.96% reduction in energy intensity at the group level. Within Saudi Arabia, the group achieved a 3.9% reduction in total Scope 1 and 2 energy emissions and a significant 10.6% decrease in energy intensity.

The group's circular economy initiatives have advanced, with a trade-in program recovering 19,611 devices and achieving a 100% reuse rate. Additionally, the end-of-life asset recycling program collected 2,175 tons of waste, with 69% being reused. The Smart Trees Initiative has successfully planted 124,900 trees across more than 26 locations since its inception.

At the local content level, stc Group's Rawafed program achieved a score of 50.69%, surpassing the ICT sector benchmark of 40%. The program has bolstered local talent development, directing 97% of workforce-related spending to the local workforce and investing SAR41 million in training and development programs.

stc Group has also demonstrated a commitment to governance and ethical excellence, with a 99.8% completion rate for anti-corruption training. Notably, the group recorded no data security breaches or incidents involving customers' personally identifiable information (PII) during 2025.

In digital inclusion and national capability development, the group made significant strides in digitally empowering society. The Smart Truck initiative, aimed at enhancing digital literacy among senior citizens, reached 2,626 beneficiaries across 26 governorates in 2025, amassing a total reach of over 12,500 beneficiaries since its launch. Women represented 17.3% of the group's workforce, 18% of Board seats, and 30.18% of new hires, while stc Academy delivered over 303,000 training hours to 15,803 unique participants.

Internationally, stc Group's sustainability performance has been highly recognized, with its MSCI ESG Rating rising to AA. The group also received the King Khalid Sustainability Award Gold Trophy, reflecting ongoing progress and a commitment to delivering value to its customers, employees, and communities.
