STEAM Festival 2024 to Showcase Four Scientific and Technological Tracks Next Week

The Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) Festival 2024, themed "The Fun of Chemistry: The Multidisciplinary World of Petrochemicals," is being organized by the King Salman Science Oasis in Riyadh. It will showcase four main sections: Exploring the Past, Connecting the Roots of Science, Discovering Oil and the Latest Innovations and Technologies in Petrochemicals with a focus on sustainability and emerging technologies, and the Future section, in which visitors can learn about current environmental challenges and innovative and sustainable solutions, which are part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The festival will be inaugurated next week under the patronage of the Governor of Riyadh Region and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Riyadh Charitable Foundation for Science, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, and under the directives and follow-up of the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf. It aims to att ract over 30,000 visitors from students, teachers, families, and various segments of society to embark on exciting scientific experiences. The festival includes numerous scientific workshops, dialogue sessions, and interactive exhibitions, making it a unique platform for communicating and exchanging experiences between various sectors. King Salman Science Oasis is a non-profit science center established through a strategic partnership between the Riyadh Charitable Foundation for Science and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST).
