Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating strong dust-stirring winds affecting parts of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders regions, in addition to Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region. These areas can also anticipate light rain and fog, extending further to include Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly with speeds ranging from 20 to 55 km/h in the northern and central parts. In contrast, the southern part will experience southeasterly to southerly winds at similar speeds. Wave heights may vary from one and a half meters to more than two and a half meters, leading to choppy sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast predicts southeasterly to southerly winds with speeds between 20 and 55 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from one meter to over two and a half meters, also resulting in choppy seas.
