Riyadh: A Syrian Ministry of Transport delegation visited the Saudi Road Research and Accelerated Pavement Testing Center in Riyadh to review applied research studies aimed at developing sustainable road projects, fostering innovation, and facilitating the exchange of technical expertise between the two nations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, officials from both sides discussed enhancing cooperation in the transport and road sectors to support infrastructure development and logistics services, aligned with broader sustainable development plans to improve regional connectivity and economic competitiveness.
Both parties emphasized the historical and fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian Arab Republic. They underscored the importance of expanding joint efforts in the road sector to achieve strategic goals, reinforcing their partnership across vital sectors for mutual benefit and strengthening their regional standing.
