Tabuk’s Olive Harvest Kicks Off with Estimated 94,000 Tons of Olives

Tabuk: Olive presses in Tabuk Region have begun receiving the harvest of more than 1.5 million olive trees, marking the start of this year's olive season, which is expected to see abundant production of olives and olive oil.

According to Saudi Press Agency, estimates from the Tabuk branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture indicate that production will reach 94,000 tons of olives, from which more than 12,250 tons of oil will be extracted.

Tabuk is one of the Kingdom's most prominent regions for olive production; its temperate climate, fertile soil, and location close to the Mediterranean climate make it a suitable environment for growing a variety of olive types.

Beyond olives, Tabuk also contributes to the production of grapes, apricots, peaches, strawberries, mangoes, oranges, and tangerines. The quality and diversity of these crops reflect the prosperity of the region's local economy and its agricultural strength.
