Tabuk’s Public Transport Network Hits Major Milestone with Growing Passenger Numbers

Tabuk: Marking World Public Transport Day, the city of Tabuk highlights a significant urban transformation as public buses become a cornerstone of daily life. According to Saudi Press Agency, since its launch in May 2025, the transport network has evolved into a vital system connecting residential neighborhoods to educational institutions, service centers, and commercial hubs, effectively reducing traffic congestion and improving urban flow. The Tabuk Municipality reported that the network reached full completion by late 2025, designed to cater to high-density areas. The project's impact is evidenced by its rapid adoption, with passenger numbers reaching 159,695 by the end of March 2026. To further enhance the user experience and align with Saudi Vision 2030, the municipality has integrated modern electronic payment systems and expanded stations. Accessibility remains a priority, with 50% discounts provided for students, senior citizens, and people with disabilities, reinforcing the system's role in elevat ing the quality of life and fostering a sustainable transport culture in the region.
