Taif: Taif University advanced in the QS World University Rankings 2027, placing within the 851-900 band globally, compared to the 901-950 band in the 2026 edition, reflecting continued progress in the university's academic and research performance indicators.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the university recorded notable results across several global indicators, most notably ranking 61st globally in the International Student Ratio indicator, 315th globally in the International Research Network indicator, and 502nd globally in the Citations per Faculty indicator.
Taif University affirmed that this progress extends its ongoing efforts to develop its educational and research ecosystem, strengthen international scientific partnerships, and improve the quality of education, research, and innovation outcomes, reflecting the support given to the Kingdom's higher education sector by its leadership, in line with Saudi Vision 2030's goals to enhance the global competitiveness of Saudi universities and raise the quality of education and scientific research.
