Taif: Taif University has achieved a new global milestone, climbing 500 places from last year in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026 to rank among the world's top 1,000 universities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the achievement reflects the university's strong academic and research performance, as well as its commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The university recorded strong performances across several indicators, ranking in the 201-300 band globally for industry, innovation, and infrastructure, and in the 401-600 band for quality education.
Taif University said the continued improvement reflects the success of its efforts to enhance the academic and research environment, improve the quality of its educational and scientific outputs, and strengthen its contribution to society.
