Kuala lumpur: The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission presented a rich cultural and knowledge-based experience at the Kingdom's pavilion at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2026. The commission showcased its leading initiatives in literature, publishing, and translation, alongside a diverse range of Saudi creative content, including stories, manga, and comics.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the 'Tarjim' initiative received broad engagement from visitors, publishers, and translators. The commission highlighted the initiative's objectives and mechanisms, as well as its role in supporting translation to and from Arabic. It also highlighted the initiative's contribution to facilitating communication between Saudi publishers and international agents, authors, and publishers.
The initiative contributes to building sustainable professional and cultural partnerships and strengthening the presence of Arabic content in global markets.
The participation comes as part of the commission's efforts to enhance the global presence of Saudi literature and open new channels for cultural engagement with peoples around the world. The exhibition continues in the Malaysian capital through June 7.
