Temperatures Reach 48 Degrees Celsius in Eastern Region

Eastern region: The National Center for Meteorology warned today of a heat wave in the Eastern Region, with temperatures reaching between 47 to 48 degrees Celsius. Active winds have also been causing blowing dust in several governorates and their affiliated villages and centers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meteorological warning emphasizes the need for residents and visitors in the affected areas to take necessary precautions. The extreme heat, coupled with strong winds, poses potential health risks and visibility issues due to the dust.

The National Center for Meteorology advises people to stay indoors during peak afternoon hours, remain hydrated, and ensure that vulnerable populations such as the elderly and children are protected from the severe weather conditions.
