Riyadh: Moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail are predicted to impact Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, potentially causing flash floods. Light to moderate rain showers are anticipated in parts of Riyadh and Najran regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty winds are expected to stir dust in these areas, as well as in Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk regions. This may lead to near-zero visibility in Madinah, Hail, Qassim, and Eastern regions.
Winds over the Red Sea are forecasted to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and 10-30 km/h in the southern part, with waves ranging from half a meter to two meters. The sea conditions are expected to vary from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will range from northwesterly to southwesterly in the northern part, and northeasterly to northwesterly in the central and southern parts, at speeds of 15-30 km/h. Waves may reach from half a meter to one and a half meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.
