Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the problem of the Gaza Strip is a dagger stuck in the heart of the world, especially the Islamic world, and that humanity is witnessing live broadcast a genocide in which all the rules of humanity are trampled upon, very unfortunately. Fidan stressed in an exclusive interview with Sky News Arabia broadcast on Wednesday that 'Turkey has only one cause to support the just Palestinian cause and rightful Palestinian resistance. It does not matter if this is in the West Bank, al-Quds, or Gaza. What is important is that the Palestinians enjoy the State of Palestine, with its capital is East Quds, within the 1967 borders granted to them by the international system. He added, "Currently, their lands are occupied and there are various resistances against this occupation. In the past, Fatah was in the leadership role, and now Hamas is doing so, and in the future there will be others." He continued, "What we always say to the international community, especially to Ameri ca, is: If you do not end the occupation, and if you are busy dealing with more detailed parties, you will miss seeing the big picture. What is important is ending the occupation and giving the Palestinians their state. The rest of the issues are secondary issues." Fidan pointed out that there are intensive efforts to stop the genocide in Gaza, and that there is a global state of alert to heal the wounds of the people of Gaza, as well as to recognize the State of Palestine. He pointed to the efforts being made to secure a ceasefire. He stressed that the mediation played by Egypt and Qatar in particular in the negotiations aimed at a ceasefire is of great value, and that Ankara considers it to be of great importance. He continued: "America is negotiating on behalf of Israel, and Israel is participating directly in the negotiations, and we in Turkey are trying to provide all possible support to all parties regarding the ceasefire." He added: "We have contacts with Hamas and are talking to them. The intellig ence service and our ministry are conducting frantic diplomatic efforts. Our goal is to end this war and this massacre as quickly as possible. That is what we seek." He continued: "In fact, the negotiations have been ongoing for several months at specific intervals. There are various roles and positions of the parties. But if we want to summarize the situation, especially in the current scene, the Palestinian side in particular has taken great steps in accepting the terms of the agreement." He added: "The incentives made by the parties, including us, played a major role in their acceptance of this. But regarding the last scene, I can say that the Americans and Westerners agree that Netanyahu avoids taking steps in this context because Netanyahu has another agenda. Stop Shooting in Palestine is not consistent with Netanyahu's political goals.' Regarding the rumors of the deportation of Hamas from Qatar, Fidan indicated that Turkey recognizes Hamas as a political party. It also recognizes all political parti es under the umbrella of the State of Palestine, adding, "Of course, the Palestinian resistance, its conflict, and its military clash with Israel has another dimension." He continued, "Hamas, as you know, is one of the active parties in the history of the Palestinian struggle. Hamas is basically not a cause but a result. It is a result of the occupation, the occupation of the Palestinian territories." Fidan said: 'Today Hamas exists, and tomorrow another organization may appear, but the resistance will always continue. The issue is what the future of the Palestinian resistance will be. We in Turkey look at the issue from this angle. There are some misconceptions about the relationship with Turkey; that we support Hamas in a big way or we don't support it." Regarding Turkey's position on the post-war phase on Gaza, Fidan said, 'In fact, our views on the post-war are the same as our pre-war views. I also said when the war started, we assumed the role of mediation in two previous wars in Gaza. At that time, I was the head of the Intelligence apparatus, and we had our role then as well, and now we also face the same issue in Turkey.' He added, "The lesson learned from our recent history is: If we do not implement the two-state solution now, the Fourth Gaza War will break out in the future. Or the Fifth West Bank War or the Seventh al-Quds War will continue to be attributed to wars." He continued, "We must learn from the events and implement the two-state solution as quickly as possible. This is important for the security of the Israelis and also for the security of the Palestinians. In fact, this must be done for the security of the entire region." He added, "The policy that we follow with friendly and brotherly countries, whether in Europe, Asia, or other countries, the Middle East, and the Arab world, is to implement the two-state solution as quickly as possible. Otherwise, we will witness more wars in the region over the Palestinian issue. We will also face many problems because of Palestine in different coun tries, especially Islamic countries, such as the problem of extremism, for example.' He stressed that Turkey does not want the spread of wars in the region, but rather wants to implement a two-state solution in which Israelis and Palestinians live safely side by side. He pointed out that "if an agreement is reached on the two-state solution, there is a guarantee mechanism proposed by Turkey." He pointed out that "Turkey, along with Islamic countries and other countries, is ready to participate in fulfilling this responsibility to ensure the survival of this state and the peace agreement.
