Mecca: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has finalized preparations to receive millions of worshippers for the 29th night of Ramadan, marking the completion of the Quran recitation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, operational services have been intensified, including preparing additional prayer areas, continuous sterilization, and expanding Zamzam water distribution points. The authority also ensured the peak efficiency of all infrastructure, including air conditioning, lighting, and sound systems.
To facilitate smooth movement, the authority activated specialized crowd management pathways, electric vehicle lanes, and digital tools such as interactive 3D maps and barcode service. Field teams equipped with simultaneous translation devices and guest care centers are stationed to assist international visitors. Furthermore, dedicated services for itikaf, medical care, and specialized resources, such as Braille copies of the Quran, have been deployed to ensure a seamless spiritual experience.
