Riyadh: Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and on his behalf, Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz honored the winners of the 27th King Salman bin Abdulaziz Local Competition for the Holy Quran during a ceremony held yesterday in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, upon arrival, Prince Faisal was welcomed by Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al Alsheikh and Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan. The governor expressed pride in the award bearing the name of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, noting its role in promoting the memorization, recitation, and interpretation of the Holy Quran.
He concluded by congratulating the winners and wishing them success in their service to the Holy Quran and the nation, fueled by the support of the Kingdom's leadership.
