University of Jeddah Showcases Innovations at Hajj Health and Security Forum

Jeddah: The University of Jeddah participated in the Hajj Health and Security Forum with a dedicated pavilion showcasing a range of technological projects and innovations developed by students and researchers. The innovations, spanning the fields of security, healthcare, and smart communications, aim to serve Hajj pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the participation featured advanced systems based on artificial intelligence, drones, and big data analytics to support crowd management, early detection of emergencies, and the enhancement of safety and security levels. It also included technological solutions to improve multilingual communication between pilgrims and volunteer teams, alongside smart solutions for real-time monitoring and guidance during the Hajj season.

The university's drones and big data academies presented advanced technical demonstrations, while field robots were also displayed. In addition, the university's Medical Services Administration highlighted health and awareness initiatives and programs supporting Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers.
