Riyadh: Upon the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and based on the recommendation of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, regarding the provision of additional support to the Yemeni people in light of the difficult economic conditions facing the Republic of Yemen, and in response to the appeal of President of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, and in confirmation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continued support for the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announces the provision of new economic development support to the Republic of Yemen in the amount of SAR1,380,250,000 through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen. According to Saudi Press Agency, in line with the Kingdom's leadership's commitment to achieving security, stability, and development for the Yemeni people and contributin g to establishing the foundations for economic, financial, and monetary stability in the Republic of Yemen, this includes support for the government budget, subsidies for petroleum derivatives, and support for the operating budget of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden Governorate, in accordance with governance that supports the Yemeni government's efforts to implement economic reforms.
