Uzbek Minister of Environment Visits National Center for Meteorology in Jeddah

Jeddah: Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov visited yesterday the National Center for Meteorology in Jeddah to review the Kingdom's leading experience in the fields of meteorology and climate.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Uzbek minister met with National Center for Meteorology Chief Executive Officer Ayman Ghulam and specialists. During the meeting, they discussed areas of cooperation, topics of mutual interest, and ways to strengthen partnerships and climate action between the two sides.

The minister was also briefed on the key achievements of the Sand and Dust Storm Regional Center, the Climate Change Center, and the Regional Cloud Seeding Program. He praised the progress made by the Kingdom in these fields.
