Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Engages with Sultan bin Abdulaziz Foundation

Riyadh: Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom, Nodirjon Turgunov, visited the Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation, accompanied by Director General Saleh Ibrahim Al-Kholaifi and several other foundation officials.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, Ambassador Nodirjon Turgunov was informed about the foundation's major programs and initiatives, which focus on supporting educational and health initiatives both locally and internationally.

Turgunov expressed appreciation for the foundation's Arabic language programs, particularly the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Linguistic Training Program in Central Asia. He highlighted a recent training course organized at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, in collaboration with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). This initiative aims to qualify Arabic language teachers for non-Arabic-speaking communities and to enhance the presence of Arabic in academic institutions across Central Asia.
