Vice Foreign Minister Engages with UK Official on Global Security Cooperation

Riyadh: Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji met today with UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, Hamish Falconer, on the sidelines of the meeting of political directors of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, hosted in Riyadh. During their meeting, the officials delved into discussions on topics of mutual interest, focusing on efforts to combat terrorism and extremism, aiming to enhance international security and peace.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions underscored the commitment of both nations to collaborate on strategies that address the challenges posed by terrorism and extremism. The engagement between Elkhereiji and Falconer reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and coordinate actions within the framework of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS.
