Vice Industry and Mineral Resources Minister Engages with US Companies on Investment Opportunities

Riyadh: Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer held a series of meetings with senior leaders of US companies to discuss mutual investment opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors. The meetings were held on the sidelines of the Saudi-US Investment Forum, currently underway in Riyadh in conjunction with the visit of US President Donald J. Trump to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation in the industrial and mining fields, capitalizing on available investment opportunities, particularly in mining and future advanced industrial sectors. The meetings also reviewed the most prominent capabilities and incentives offered by the Kingdom's industrial and mining ecosystem.

Eng. Al-Mudaifer met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Albemarle, a company specializing in the production of lithium and advanced chemicals; the CEO of MP Materials, a leader in rare earth element extraction and production; and the CEO of Electra.aero, a company focused on developing aviation systems.

Additionally, Eng. Al-Mudaifer met with senior officials from Raytheon, a subsidiary of RTX Group specializing in aerospace and defense technologies. The meeting included the Senior Vice President of Global Government Relations, President of Requirements and Capabilities, Managing Director of Raytheon Saudi Arabia, and Vice President of Global Government Relations for the Middle East and Africa.

Discussions addressed advanced manufacturing opportunities and qualitative solutions to enhance industrial capabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
