Al khobar: Industry and Mineral Resources Vice Minister for Industrial Affairs Eng. Khalil bin Salamah today inaugurated the first edition of the Heavy Equipment Connect Forum and Expo, held at Dhahran Expo for three days, in the presence of a select group of industry leaders, investors, and local and international experts.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the launch of the forum and its accompanying exhibition coincides with the announcement of a package of industrial licenses designed to support and enable the machinery and equipment sector, reflecting a transition from the planning phase to practical implementation. The forum contributes to stimulating qualitative investments, localizing advanced technologies in the heavy equipment industry, and building an integrated and sustainable industrial base.
The organization of the forum and exhibition by the National Industrial Development Center underscores its role in empowering promising industrial sectors and building strategic partnerships that open broader horizons for cooperation, contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the National Industrial Strategy.
