According to Saudi Press Agency, this strategic initiative provides researchers and companies with smart infrastructure and specialized laboratories in fields such as chemistry, biology, and mechatronics. At its core is the advanced pilot plant, where desalination and renewable energy technologies are tested on realistic scales.
Additionally, the project includes the Water Academy, which employs simulation and virtual reality to train national talent for the sector's future.
The oasis also fosters an investment-friendly environment for startups and international firms, supporting knowledge transfer and the Kingdom's goal of becoming a global leader in sustainable water security.
