Riyadh: Gusty and dust-stirring winds are set to persist in parts of Najran, Riyadh, Eastern, Hail, Madinah, Makkah, and Jazan regions. Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are anticipated over parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly winds in the northern and central parts and a shift from northwesterly to northerly in the southern part by evening, at speeds ranging between 18-45 km/h. The sea conditions are expected to be calm to choppy, with waves rising from one to two meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast predicts northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts, at speeds of 15-45 km/h. In the southern part, winds will transition from northwesterly to southwesterly, reaching speeds of 12-28 km/h. Sea conditions will similarly range from calm to choppy, with wave heights from half a meter to two meters.
