Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are expected to sweep across several regions, accompanied by moderate to heavy rain and hail, as forecasted for Saturday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has indicated that Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, the Northern Borders, and the Eastern regions will likely experience these weather conditions.
Additionally, light to moderate rain is anticipated in the Riyadh, Jazan, and Al-Jouf regions, with the possibility of fog formation in these areas and the Tabuk Region. The forecast also highlights the wind patterns over major water bodies in the area. Over the Red Sea, winds will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds expected in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly winds in the southern part, reaching speeds of 20-50 km/h. The sea conditions are predicted to range from calm to choppy, with waves between one to two and a half meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will initially be southeasterly to southerly at speeds of 12-50 km/h in the northern part. In the evening, these winds will shift to northwesterly to westerly in the central and southern parts, with speeds of 10-25 km/h. Waves in the Arabian Gulf may range from half a meter to over two meters, with the sea expected to be calm to choppy.
