Weather Forecast Predicts Temperature Rise and Gusty Winds in Eastern and Western Regions

Riyadh: Parts of the Eastern Region are expected to witness a rise in maximum temperatures on Thursday, while gusty and dust-stirring winds will affect Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderclouds accompanied by gusty winds are anticipated to form over the highlands of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha, extending to the southern highlands of the Makkah Region.

Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to vary, with northwesterly to northerly directions at speeds of 20-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 12-32 km/h in the southern part. The wave heights will range from half a meter to two meters, and the sea is expected to remain relatively calm.

In the Arabian Gulf, the wind will be northerly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts and northwesterly to southwesterly in the southern part, with speeds of 12-35 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, maintaining a relatively calm sea condition.
