The King Abdulaziz University has announced dispatching 20 students to participate in the 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2023), which is being held in the Azeri capital, Baku, between October 2 and 6 by the International Astronautical Federation.
The congress sees the participation of several international space agencies and institutions. It is attended by over 5,000 participants and visitors from various countries to review global challenges and discuss efforts to explore space's untapped potential for humankind's benefit.
The event aims to discuss emerging global trends in the space sector, review global experiments and developments, and build international partnerships among sectors and companies concerned with the space field.
The participation of the university's students in this important congress seeks to check on the top challenges and ways to develop innovative solutions, support the research, development and innovation efforts in the field of space, and provide them with the opportunity to speak with top international figures from government and private entities related to space science and technologies.
