HM King receives HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister

Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at the Al Sakhir Palace today. The meeting reviewed topics related to further bolstering Bahrain's development process and the major projects and plans it encompasses in various domains. His Majesty expressed appreciation and thanks to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his dedicated efforts and achievements in leading the government towards further development and excellence. HM the King praised the initiatives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister that drive the progress of the kingdom's development, and his continuous follow-up that has contributed to the completion of many mega-projects, which have consolidated the kingdom's status and advanced its rankings in development indicators. His Majesty lauded the significant success of the 33rd Arab Summit hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, presided over by HM the King. His Majesty highlighted the constructive decisions reached in the Bahrain Summit, aiming to reinforce Arab unity, support development, and enhance regional security, peace, and prosperity. His Majesty the King expressed appreciation to all Arab leaders for their contributions to the summit's success, which will serve the interests of the Arab world. His Majesty also commended the efforts of various ministries, government institutions, the private sector, and all involved entities in organising this historic event in Bahrain. Furthermore, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa highlighted the outcomes of his recent successful official state visit to the Russian Federation and his productive talks with His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of Russia. HM the King expressed confidence that these talks with HE President Putin will further strengthen the close historical partnership between Bahrain and Russia and advance their strategic cooperation in various domains. His Majesty also expressed eagerness to meeting His Excellency Pres ident Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China during his forthcoming official state visit to China. Bahrain, Pakistan discuss military cooperation

Manama, His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, received Major General Kashif Abdullah, Director General of Military Operations at the General Command of the Pakistani Army. The meeting discussed topics of common interest. The National Guard Commander praised the Bahrain-Pakistan relations and the advanced cooperation between the National Guard and the Pakistani army. Labour Minister meets IMF delegation

Manama, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), received members of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation led by John Bluedorn, Deputy Division Chief in the Regional Analytics and Strategy Division of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the IMF. His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, Nibras Mohammed Talib, CEO of the LMRA, attended the meeting. The delegation was briefed on Bahrain's initiatives in regulating the labour market, which included the development of national labour legislation in line with international standards.
