Sakaka: The olive kitchen at the 19th Al-Jouf International Olive Festival combines delicious olive dishes with international flavors from East and West, while maintaining Al-Jouf's culinary identity.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the kitchen brings together chefs and culinary traditions from three continents, featuring dishes from Saudi, Turkish, Palestinian, Italian, Jordanian, Spanish, Egyptian, and Syrian cuisines. Olives and olive oil are used in varying amounts across the kitchen's dishes, including kabsa, salads, pasta, tabbouleh, stuffed vegetables, fatteh, stuffed grape leaves, biryani, shawarma, and many other delicious creations.
The olive kitchen is a popular attraction for families and young visitors at the Al-Jouf International Olive Festival, organized by the region's municipality in Sakaka, and runs until January 17.
