Breastfeeding Association Concludes International Conference in Riyadh

Riyadh: The Breastfeeding Association Second International Conference concluded in Riyadh, hosting over 800 health practitioners, doctors, and nurses. The three-day event featured more than 30 scientific papers and included specialists from the Kingdom, the Gulf states, Egypt, Jordan, Malaysia, the US, and Europe.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference aimed to promote breastfeeding and its positive social impact, raise awareness of breastfeeding goals and support decision-makers, and review the economics of breastfeeding shortages and present solutions.

Accompanying the conference was an exhibition featuring nine Saudi and international organizations, alongside six awareness lectures directed at parents, covering breastfeeding practices versus artificial feeding.
