Competitiveness Center’s International Partnerships Boost Saudi Arabia’s Global Standing

Riyadh: The National Competitiveness Center is actively working to enhance Saudi Arabia's competitive environment, focusing on improving its ranking in global indicators and reports. This initiative involves studying, identifying, and analyzing obstacles faced by both the public and private sectors, proposing necessary reforms and solutions, and ensuring their implementation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the center collaborates closely with government entities to elevate the Kingdom's global competitiveness. This collaboration involves reforms in economic, legislative, and procedural frameworks, with the aim of improving the business environment and attracting private sector investment.

To foster economic prosperity and enhance competitiveness indicators, the Kingdom established the center to synchronize efforts among government entities. A significant aspect of the center's mission is forming strategic partnerships with prominent international competitiveness organizations. These partnerships are crucial for adopting global best practices, enhancing legislative quality, boosting productivity and innovation, facilitating technology transfer, and workforce development. Notable international partners include the World Bank Group, the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the World Economic Forum (WEF), and the World Competitiveness Center of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).

Through its collaboration with these organizations, the center plays a vital role in sustainable economic development, policy formulation, strengthening national capabilities, and improving the Kingdom's business environment.
