Council of Senior Scholars Leader Reviews Hajj Services at Holy Sites

Makkah: Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al-Majed, conducted an inspection of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta's headquarters in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. The purpose of the visit was to assess the readiness of the services offered to pilgrims during the Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during his visit, Dr. Al-Majed examined the workflow at the presidency's headquarters. He was updated on the procedures for handling pilgrims' inquiries and the field awareness and fatwa services provided by the presidency. These services are aimed at assisting pilgrims in performing their rituals according to the Quran and Sunnah.

Dr. Al-Majed highlighted the necessity of enhancing preparedness and increasing the presence of scholars from the Council of Senior Scholars to effectively respond to pilgrims' questions, especially in key locations such as Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. He also emphasized the importance of collaboration among all relevant authorities to serve pilgrims better and to improve awareness and guidance efforts. These actions align with the leadership's goals to provide optimal services and facilitate a smooth and peaceful experience for pilgrims.

At the end of the inspection, Dr. Al-Majed expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the presidency's staff and acknowledged the quality of services rendered to pilgrims. He also offered prayers for the acceptance of the pilgrims' Hajj and expressed gratitude towards Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and all individuals dedicated to serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
