Madinah: The Madinah Municipality is implementing its integrated operational plan for the 1447 AH Hajj season through a comprehensive field and service system, aiming to enhance service quality and improve the overall visitor experience for pilgrims across an urban area exceeding 943 square kilometers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, to execute these operations, the municipality has mobilized 5,730 personnel and 1,234 pieces of equipment and machinery. These field resources are further supported by nine electronic platforms that streamline municipal services and track real-time operational workflows.
The comprehensive plan focuses on intensifying commercial oversight, public cleanliness, environmental sanitation, and pest control. Additionally, round-the-clock field teams are managing infrastructure maintenance for roads, sidewalks, and bridges, ensuring food safety, and providing swift responses to emergencies throughout the peak season.
