CST Governor Evaluates Digital Infrastructure Preparations for 2026 Hajj Season

Jeddah: Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) Eng. Haytham Abdulrahman AlOhali reviewed the readiness of the Digital Infrastructure at King Abdulaziz International Airport, and the Haramain Train Station during his inspection visit for the 2026 Hajj season. The visit aimed to ensure the quality of telecommunications services and the completion of all necessary arrangements and precautions to maintain service continuity and reliability, therefore provide the best experience for pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the tour included telecom service providers' sales centers in the airport for serving pilgrims, ensuring their readiness to welcome the pilgrims upon arrival and meet their needs. It also included a visit to the Haramain Train Station, where he reviewed the key preparations for receiving pilgrims and the availability of comprehensive telecom services across the station's facilities.

This visit is part of CST's preparations to serve pilgrims during this year's Hajj season and its commitment to providing all ICT services with high efficiency and quality, supporting its objective of enhancing user experience through integrated digital services, as well as ensuring that pilgrims benefit from advanced infrastructure.
