Riyadh: Jabal Al-Rahmah in Arafat stands as one of the most prominent Islamic landmarks, tied to the greatest moments of Hajj, where millions of pilgrims gather on the Day of Arafah in a solemn scene of devotion, supplication, and submission to Allah, amid a spiritual atmosphere reflecting the unity of Muslims from various ethnicities, languages, and cultures as they beseech Allah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the area has seen infrastructure development works including improved roads leading to the mountain, the construction of pedestrian paths, and the installation of multilingual directional signs, alongside modern lighting systems and integrated field services, contributing to organizing movement and reducing congestion, especially during peak hours on the Day of Arafah.
Each year, Jabal Al-Rahmah recreates this unique scene of faith, standing as a witness to the greatest annual Islamic gathering and a landmark etched in Muslims' hearts as a symbol of supplication, repentance, and hope, one of the most prominent spiritual symbols in the Holy Sites and an embodiment of mercy and unity.
