Additionally, the western side of the central area hosts significant mosques and historical landmarks, while Quba Avenue offers a pedestrian route linking the Prophet's Mosque with Quba Mosque, enriched with historical significance and a variety of shopping and dining options.
Seasonal activities and events offer diverse options for visitors during the midyear holiday, featuring cultural activities and enrichment destinations such as Al-Uyun Market, Maqsad Quba, and open winter markets showcasing local products and traditional crafts.
Al Madinah Region Development Authority is undertaking projects to develop squares and plazas in the central area, aiming to connect visitors with their religious and historical heritage.
