Makkah: In a deeply moving scene of devotion and gratitude, Sudanese pilgrim Mariam Al-Nour, 70, drew the attention of fellow pilgrims in Mina as she accompanied her 90-year-old mother Ruqaya Abu Bakr during this year's Hajj, as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. Despite her age and being a mother of eight, she never left her mother's side throughout the journey, a scene that encapsulates the deepest meanings of compassion and loyalty after decades of care and devotion.
According to Saudi Press Agency, with measured steps, she accompanied her mother among the holy sites, undeterred by the crowds or the difficulty of the journey, affirming that accompanying her mother to perform Hajj is the greatest journey of her life and that her true happiness lies in seeing her mother fulfill her dream of performing the rituals in health and reassurance.
