Diriyah: The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) marked Eid al-Adha 1446 AH with an array of events that enlivened the city, engaging both residents and visitors with educational and entertainment activities spread across various locations in Diriyah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the celebrations commenced after the Eid prayer, where Saudi coffee and hospitality were extended in several Diriyah mosques, honoring the region's customs of Eid celebrations with greeting exchanges. The afternoon saw the start of activities in the historic At-Turaif and Al-Dhuwaihra neighborhoods. Visitors to At-Turaif enjoyed traditional Diriyah hospitality, personalized Diriyah script souvenirs, and captivating horse shows featuring renowned breeds of Arabian horses.

In Al-Dhuwaihra, a series of activities unfolded, with pathways creatively designed to reflect historical Hajj and caravan routes like the Dirab Road, Abu Al-Qad Road (now Qiddiya Road), and Sab' Al-Malaf Road. Along the Dirab Road, traditional food stalls run by local families offered a taste of authentic Diriyah cuisine under the 'Taste of Diriyah Palace' initiative.

Abu Al-Qad Road showcased traditional interactive games and a special exhibition on Hajj routes through Diriyah, leading to the Diriyah Council, a historic gathering point for Hajj caravans to Mecca. On Sab' Al-Malaf Road, visitors captured memories at designated photo corners and engaged in henna and calligraphy workshops, enhancing their Eid experience in Diriyah.

The Eid al-Adha festivities extended into the evening of the second day, featuring workshops for children to explore Diriyah landmarks through art and craft, and for adults, the "Coffee Customs and Ways" workshop, promoting the traditional hospitality of Diriyah. The diverse activities catered to all ages, enriching participants' understanding and appreciation of local customs.
