Urgent Medical Response Saves French Pilgrim from Heat Exhaustion

Makkah: Rapid intervention within the emergency care system, part of the Saudi healthcare model, successfully saved a French pilgrim suffering from heat exhaustion. A medical team at Al-Haram Emergency Hospital, a member of the Makkah Health Cluster, managed the situation after the pilgrim was brought to the hospital's emergency department by the Red Crescent. The individual was experiencing a high temperature exceeding 40 degrees Celsius due to direct exposure to sunlight.

According to Saudi Press Agency, after the pilgrim's arrival, the Makkah Health Cluster reported that the necessary measures were immediately undertaken, and the individual was admitted to the intensive care unit for essential care.

The Makkah Health Cluster noted that Al-Haram Emergency Hospital is operating at full capacity, with its medical staff continuously working to serve pilgrims and Umrah performers during the seasons.
