Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has predicted dust-stirring winds affecting areas in Eastern, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Northern Borders, Tabuk, Madinah, and Makkah regions on Thursday. Additionally, thunderstorms are anticipated to occur in parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Red Sea will experience northerly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 25-50 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the southern part, winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-40 km/h. The sea conditions are expected to be calm to choppy, with waves ranging from half a meter to two and a half meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are forecasted to be southeasterly to northeasterly during the day, shifting to northerly to northwesterly at night in the northern and central regions, with speeds of 12-36 km/h. In the southern part, winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly, shifting to westerly to northwesterly at night, at speeds of 10-30 km/h. Wave heights may range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea expected to remain calm.
