Finance Minister Heads Saudi Delegation at 125th Meeting of GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee

Riyadh: Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan headed virtually today the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the 125th meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. It was chaired by Minister of Finance and National Economy of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Salman Al Khalifa, with the participation of the GCC ministers of finance and the GCC Secretary-General.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, the ministers reviewed many topics related to enhancing financial and economic cooperation including, progress achieved in GCC Customs Union, the adoption of the Gulf Joint Market Committee (2026-2028) action plan, and the guidelines of GCC participation in international events. The meeting also discussed regional developments, their potential implications and impact on the GCC countries, as well as ways to strengthen joint coordination in addressing them.
