GCC Secretary General hails role of International Conference on Justice in shaping future of judicial technologies

Riyadh, The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, participated in the International Conference on Justice under the theme "Facilitating Access to Justice Through Digital Innovation". In attendance were experts, jurists, and specialists from around the world.

Al-Budaiwi emphasized the importance of the conference, which discussed crucial topics related to the future of judicial technologies, digital transformation in the judicial field, investing in artificial intelligence technologies to enhance judicial work, the future of international cooperation in the judicial field, international experiences in judicial cooperation, and draft model agreements for judicial cooperation between countries. He also underscored the significance of implementing foreign judgments within judicial cooperation agreements and international law, harmonizing internal legislation with judicial cooperation agreements, and facilitating judicial cooperation procedures. He stressed the need to discuss strategies for digital transformation and artificial intelligence in the justice sector and address its most prominent challenges.

The Secretary General highlighted the support provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince to the justice sector in finding solutions that improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
