Dammam: Under the patronage and in the presence of Governor of Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi participated today in the second edition of the Eastern Region Roads and Transport Forum. The forum, held in Dammam, was organized by the Gulf Road and Transport Engineering Society in partnership with the Sharqia Development Authority and the Eastern Region Municipality, drawing an elite gathering of decision-makers, industry leaders, and experts from local, regional, and international backgrounds.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during his participation, Albudaiwi stated that the forum serves as a primary testament to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pursuit of infrastructure development and its dedication to elevating the quality of public services. He commended the efforts of the organizers for the forum's theme, "Steadfast Steps. Toward a Future Aligned with Our Vision," noting that the workshops and activities between the public and private sectors are essential for pioneering smart solutions and enhancing the overall efficiency of the transport ecosystem.
Furthermore, he reaffirmed that GCC member states prioritize the modernization and development of the transport sector.
