Brasília, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi said that the GCC countries are keen to strengthen their relations with countries and international organizations as a crucial step towards boosting strategic partnerships. Albudaiwi made this remark during a reception held in his honor in the Brazilian capital, which was attended by several senior Brazilian government and parliamentary officials, as well as foreign diplomatic figures. He stated that the large presence of officials and ambassadors accredited in Brasilia reflects the status enjoyed by the GCC countries in Brazil and the international community.
