Madinah, The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has prepared several quality services for pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque, enabling them to perform their worship with ease and comfort. The Prophet's Mosque is equipped with 85 air conditioning units, 606 ventilation fans, and 424 mist fans, all operating precisely, harmoniously, and automatically to cool the atmosphere and protect pilgrims from high temperatures. The mosque has 99 gates allowing pilgrims to enter and reach prayer areas. Additionally, 180 escalators and 17 elevators serve the elderly and people with disabilities. The mosque and its courtyards have over 18,000 prayer rugs, 26 special prayer areas for people with disabilities, and 15,000 Zamzam water dispensers. The courtyards also have 2,550 restrooms and 3,000 manual wheelchairs for transporting the elderly, ensuring that pilgrims enjoy comfort and tranquility. Source: Saudi Press Agency
