Health Minister Reviews Medical Technologies and Fleet Readiness for Hajj Season

Riyadh: Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel inspected the readiness of health services designated for pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season, reviewing a range of innovations and technologies presented by key health entities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, NUPCO showcased drones for rapid medical supply delivery, while the Saudi Food and Drug Authority displayed monitoring vehicles equipped with refrigerators and body cameras. The Health Holding Company presented advanced systems for ambulance fleet and medical triage management, including electric ambulance bicycles.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority presented its operational fleet of more than 3,000 ambulance units, including rapid intervention vehicles, electric golf carts, motorcycles, and 11 ambulance aircraft for critical cases.

The inspection forms part of the minister's field tours to monitor the health system's progress and ensure high-quality readiness to serve pilgrims during the Hajj season.
