Hira Cultural District Unveils Caravan-Inspired Interactive Event

Makkah:The Hira Cultural District has launched an event that offers an interactive journey along a heritage trail inspired by the world of Islamic caravans. This event aims to evoke the historical caravan journeys and the exchange of knowledge, values, and stories they entailed, providing visitors with an immersive experience that blends education, entertainment, and shopping.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event will run until the end of December 2026 and allows visitors to explore human values, diverse knowledge, and stories passed down through generations by caravans. It features storytelling, interactive scenes, and commercial activities inspired by traditional markets.

Here, visitors can participate in weighing goods, bartering, and shopping, as well as enjoy performances and scenes depicting daily life in old markets, showcasing interactions between merchants, travelers, and craftspeople.
