Riyadh: The Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC) celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of the Global Labor Market Academy and launched the second cohort, reflecting the ongoing continuity of the training program.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this milestone is part of the conference's ongoing efforts to build global capacities and provide labor market policymakers with practical, evidence-based tools to keep pace with rapid transformations, reaffirming the academy's role as a platform that goes beyond dialogue to develop tangible capabilities among officials shaping labor market policies.
The graduation ceremony was held on the first day of the conference, honoring 36 graduates representing labor market policymakers and decision-makers from 34 countries. The event highlighted the GLMC's commitment to long-term capacity building and to supporting the next generation of labor policy leaders amid profound economic, technological, and demographic changes.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi, underscoring the high-level institutional support for the academy and its strategic importance at both regional and international levels.
The Global Labor Market Academy, affiliated with the GLMC, aims to graduate a new cohort each year as a platform that not only facilitates global discussions but also delivers sustainable, practical impact through continuous learning and capacity building.
